Longevity for You
In spite of your anti-aging and longevity lifestyle, death will come at the end. No matter how long a life you may want to live, you will, like everyone else, face dying one day. This is the way of all flesh.

However, the way you look at the ultimate end may make a difference in you longevity living.

What is dying? What is the meaning of death for you?

Dying is the point where the
qi (vital life energy) leaves the body. The Chinese saying for dying is “broken qi.“ (To find out more about qi, read my web pages: Anti-Aging, Daily Good Health Maintenance, and Natural Healing For Longevity Health.)

Look at the end of your life not as an end but as another beginning. Regardless of your religious belief, dying is much like each year bringing the seasons, which dies into the next one to begin another cycle afresh. Dying is no more than the cycle of the four seasons. You do not feel sad when summer becomes fall, and fall turns into winter. So why should you feel sorry for yourself because you are coming to the end of your life’s journey?

You may feel forlorn at the sunset of your life. Ancient wisdom says that your wanting something creates the expectation of having that something, and this expectation creates the setting for failure and disappointment, which engenders more wanting and more expectation. Not to have any desire in life is not living, but to be slave to desire is not real living either.

Chuang Tzu, a great Chinese philosopher, has this wisdom to say about dying:

How do I know that in clinging to this life I’m not merely clinging to a dream and delaying my entry into the real world?

The great earth burdens me with a body, causes me to toil in life, eases me in old age, and rests me in death. That which makes my life good, makes my death even better.

The ancient Oriental sages regarded life as eternal and dying not an end but just the beginning; therefore, they neither rejoiced at birth nor wailed at the end of life.

Dying, at the end of your life, has no meaning and no significance. So do not become obsessed with the thought of dying. Putting aside the religious concept of reincarnation or eternal life, this is how one should look at one's inevitable end -
no meaning whatsoever.

On the other hand, life has meaning and purpose. So just live on and make the best and the most of it until the very end. This anti-aging attitude is all the more important as you approach the end of life's journey.
